Unexpected ways coaching can change your life

We know what we need to do to feel better or improve our wellbeing, but we tend to feel like we could wait another day before doing so. Thinking about our health as a long-term achievement means we don’t feel an urge to develop habits that get us there. We’re conditioned to choose what makes us feel good right away and anything that doesn’t is left aside, for later. The reality is that most things that give us immediate gratification are not worthwhile for our long term wellbeing. Being aware of this can sometimes be enough to drive us into developing the habits that we need to build the future we desire. Building new habits or going through transitions can feel uncomfortable and demanding, but our bodies adapt quickly, and having someone to encourage you and keep you accountable is invaluable to create long-lasting change.

This is why I find Health Coaching to be incredibly effective. While many people use it to achieve specific goals or navigate certain health diagnoses, there are other unexpected benefits that can truly change you life.

Coaching is a collaborative process that invites you to take agency over your own health and wellbeing by creating meaningful and sustainable changes in your life. For mothers, it can be particularly beneficial as our physiology shifts in many ways after childbirth, and trying to understand these changes while taking care of little people and raising a family can feel overwhelming. With Health Coaching, I fully support and encourage you to achieve your best health and wellbeing. I place mothers at the centre, and invite you to focus on what truly matters to you and where you want to go in life.

Clarity & Focus

Coaching helps you identify your values, passions, and goals with greater clarity. As a mother, it's easy to lose sight of your own aspirations while you’re trying to meet the demands of parenting. Coaching provides a space for you to reconnect with your dreams and aspirations, enabling you to focus your energy on what truly matters to you.

Self-discovery

We explore your beliefs, strengths, and challenges to overcome limiting patterns and make conscious choices aligned with your values and desires. Many mothers uncover a resurgence in creativity after childbirth, and this self-expression is entirely unique to each mother.

empowerment

A coach serves as a supportive guide, helping you unlock your potential and find your own answers from within. You take ownership of your health and well-being in a way that feels empowering to you.

Improved relationships

Mothers experience a rite of passage with childbirth. A part of us dies and a part of us is born. We can feel disoriented as our relationship with ourselves shifts, which changes the way we relate to those around us. Coaching can support you through these phases of transition and integration. When we step into a new role, we see the world differently, and the world also looks at us in a different way. Coaching helps you navigate these changes in dynamics by becoming more attuned to your own needs, understanding boundaries and communicating them effectively.

resilience and adaptability

Coaching equips you with the tools and mindset to navigate the messiness and chaos of motherhood. Unexpected challenges and uncertainties, require adaptability and resilience, which are valuable skills to model to your children.

Holistic Well-being:

Coaching addresses all aspects of well-being, including mental, emotional, and spiritual health. By nurturing these interconnected dimensions of wellness, coaching helps you achieve a greater sense fulfilment and overall vitality.

Health Coaching has the potential to profoundly transform your life in unexpected ways. Whether you're seeking to improve your health, find greater fulfilment, or navigate the challenges of motherhood, coaching provides a supportive framework for growth and self-discovery. By embracing the coaching process with an open mind and heart, you can create a life that sets the foundation for long-term health and wellbeing.
